Kelly is a skilled litigator specializing in complex divorces requiring unique and international property valuations, negotiating multi-million dollar settlements, and developing creative solutions to difficult custody issues. Kelly vigorously represents each client and his/her interests, focusing on asset preservation and protecting children. She has taken cases to the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court, and United States Supreme Court. Additionally, Kelly regularly presents at divorce workshops around the Denver Metro area.

Kelly has practiced law for nearly a decade, primarily specializing in family law and litigation. She has practiced with a number of prominent Colorado family law firms, and co-founded a firm in 2012. She joined Willoughby & Associates in 2016.

Professional Associations

Kelly is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Family Law Section. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Alliance of Professional Women and is the 2016-17 President Elect of the Alliance of Professional Women Foundation. She serves as a mentor to DU Law School students and regularly provides pro bono services to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.

About Kelly

Kelly was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and before moving to Denver in 2005, lived in Boulder, San Diego, and Zermatt, Switzerland. Kelly lives in Northwest Denver primarily, and in Summit County as much as possible. When she is not in Denver working on her nearly one hundred year old home, you will find her skiing, mountain biking, camping or rafting. She is an avid traveler and has visited eighteen countries, many of which while sailing around the world.
